Take a step toward a greener future and plant an organic Oak Sapling from our friends at Organic Blooms. Jo and her team are passionate about doing their part for the planet and have been busy cultivating these hardy English Oak saplings for the past few years.
Grown in specially-prepared organic compost and planted in a biodegradable pot, each sapling is carefully wrapped in hessian tied with English twine. A wonderfully sustainable option if you’re looking to plant more trees. A rule of thumb is that oak trees spend 300 years growing, 300 years in their prime, then 300 years slowly dying, so you'll be planting a tree for generations to come!
Open straight away and water well. Each sapling is two years old and measures 30cm. Best potted into a 7-9cm pot and allowed to grow a little more before being planted directly into your garden. Make sure to plant it away from your house at the end of the garden so that is has plenty of space to grow.
