Sharpham Park’s Spelt, Emmer & Einkorn Heritage Flour has a depth of flavour that can only be achieved by combining the very best, organic grains. This trio of wheats have an earthy, nutty flavour that has been enjoyed by bakers for over 10,000 years, being some of the first crops to be grown by human hands. Today, Sharpham Park keep a little of that heritage alive by using traditional stone-milling on their Somerset Farm, creating a flour that’s a great source of fibre. Sharpham Park is a 300-acre historic park that dates all the way back to the Bronze Age. Neighbouring Glastonbury, its rolling fields of organic spelt and over 300 walnut trees are a natural haven for local wildlife all year round. Using only traditional milling methods, we can’t think of a more fitting maker of this ancient grain.
