Raise a toast to a great British roast, with a boned and rolled, organic pork shoulder joint from the brilliant folks at Daylesford, where all their animals are cared for to the highest standards of welfare. To cook it to perfection, seal each side of the joint by pan frying for 4-5 mins, then allow at least 40 minutes mins per kilo, plus an additional 40 minutes mins at low to medium heat in the oven.

Storage & prep

Keep refrigerated <4C. Consume within 1 day of opening. Only cook from chilled. Freeze on day of delivery. Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours, do not refreeze once thawed.


For perfectly cooked pork , our head chef recommends: Season with salt, pepper and olive oil. Pan-fry until golden brown all over, then place in a hot oven (180C/fan, 160C/gas mk 4) Roast for 30 min until the pork is cooked through with no pink meat, and the juices run clear. Allow to rest for 5-10 min before serving.Suitable for home freezing.
