Producer

San Martino is a family run fruit farm rooted in the orchards of northern Italy, where fruit growing is treated as a careful balance between flavour, land and nature. Based in Verzuolo, with production sites in Dronero and Cavour, the farm focuses mainly on apples and pears, alongside smaller harvests of apricots and blueberries. Everything is managed using organic farming methods, with a significant part of the land set aside for woodland, hedgerows and natural waterways. This commitment to biodiversity and environmental balance shapes how San Martino grow their fruit, resulting in produce that’s carefully cultivated, responsibly grown and closely connected to the landscape it comes from.

Ingredients & allergens

Abel & Cole handles celery, celeriac, peanuts and nuts on site. Due to our packing process and re-use of boxes there is a risk of cross-contamination from these, and all other allergens.

While we do everything we can to ensure the information on this page is correct, ingredients, nutritional and dietary information are subject to change. So along with the information on our website, we always recommend that you read each label carefully before enjoying your items

Storage & prep

As a snack, the only preparation needed is a quick rinse under the tap. But, without the use of pesticides and other chemicals on our apples, there will be no harm if you dig straight into your fruit box delivered to your door! Apples can last longer than most other fruit but are better when fresh. We recommend you keep them in your fridge to help keep them crisp and crunchy.
