Grow your own spicy organic chillies with these plants from Organic Blooms. You will receive a ''Hungarian Hot Wax" variety suitable for growing on in a glasshouse, sheltered patio, balcony or windowsill.
The fruits are long and pointed and fleshy, up to 11cm long and mature from a pale yellow/green to red. They are one of the best for growing in the British climate, maturing early from mid-july to november. It is reliable, quick growing and a heavy cropper. The fruits have a mild to medium heat- around 1000 to 15,000 on the Scoville scale (developig as they change colour). They are versatile and used in stirfries, salads, for stuffing and making chilli jam.
