- 500g carrots

- 300g onions
- 300g kale
Sizzle some greens to go with your roast chicken. Fry a chopped onion in a large pan till golden, then stir in chopped chilli, crushed garlic and a pinch of cumin seeds. Add shredded greens, like kale or chard, and fry till soft and tender.
If you're making roast potatoes, try spicing them up by tossing parboiled potatoes with a mix of ground cumin, coriander and smoked paprika before tipping into the roasting tin.
