Step by step this way
  • 1.

    Peel and grate or crush the garlic cloves and pop then into a medium bowl. Stir in the mustard then the maple syrup, red wine vinegar and basil oil. Add a good pinch of salt and pepper.

    Add your choice of protein to the sauce and marinade for 30 mins at room temperature or overnight in the fridge.

  • 3.

    Grill or roast your protein and serve with your choice of sides.
