Ingredients you'll need
  • 227g pot of double cream
From your kitchen
  • A pinch of sea salt
You'll need
  • Lidded jar
  • Marbles (optional)
  • A food processor (optional)
Step by step this way

  • 4.

As soon as the sound changes and it sounds like a big lump spinning or shaking it should be done. Have a peak. If you can see butter, spoon it out. Strain out the whey or buttermilk. Use it to make homemade buttermilk pancakes, soda bread or scones. See our website for recipes.
