The Delgado brothers, who make this gorgeous Tempranillo, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon blend in La Mancha, Spain know that sometimes you need more than a bottle of wine to hand. Say, for a BBQ, a party or any sort of celebration. This 300cl wine box is the equivalent of four normal-sized (75cl bottles) which is ideal to generously fill the glasses of 8-10 guests. And, I suppose you want to know a bit about the flavour of the wine. It's un-oaked, making it soft, silky and easy to slip down. It has an earthy flavour with hints of juicy red berries and vanilla. This wine is great with barbecues, roasted veg, and tapas.

Bodega Hermanos Delgado in La Mancha, Spain was built in 1998 by the earnest Delgado Brothers; smack in the middle of an enormous 200 hectare organic vineyard (some of our growers have 4 hectares!). Heat is the enemy in La Mancha and so the brothers have to get the grapes into the cool of the winery quickly to keep the original fruitiness of the grapes. The results are fresh, simple, but very pure wines that are a joy to drink and amazingly, given the heat, not too alcoholic!
