These organic salmon fillets get their meatiness from swimming around in tidal farms by the Irish coast. They’re best simply pan-fried, roasted or steamed. Their light, delicate taste goes beautifully with a little lemon juice.

Producer

Our organic salmon comes from Glenarm Organic Salmon in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Their on-growing farms are located in Glenarm Bay and Red Bay off the Antrim coast, separated by 11 miles of fast flowing coastal seawater. Each farm is stocked with a different generation of organically reared smolts (young salmon) all sourced from the island of Ireland. Glenarm farms are located in the very exposed and energetic coastal waters of the North Channel in the Irish Sea where currents and tidal flows make sure optimal exercise and firm muscle formation in the salmon. The salmon also have plenty of space to grow and thrive with maximum stocking densities of 10kg per cubic meter providing the salmon population with a living environment that reduces stress and promotes healthy growth and freedom to thrive. Their approach to rearing salmon gives priority to the health and welfare of the fish and to the long term protection of the environment.
