Emily's Espresso Martinis

"In our family Espresso Martinis are our Christmas Eve treat. As a child, I remember my parents calling them Espresso Sant-inis. When they made them, that was our cue to go to sleep before Santa arrived! I'm in my mid-20s now and still love the family tradition." Emily, Customer Services

Method

1. Pop 2 martini glasses into the freezer to chill for at least 20 mins, or fill them with ice and set aside for 5 mins.
2. Pour 50ml vodka, 70ml coffee liqueur and 70ml espresso into a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice cubes and seal the top. Give everything a good shake for about 30 secs, till the shaker feels ice cold.
3. Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glasses (discarding the ice from the glasses, if you used it). Garnish the top of each martini with 3 coffee beans: one for love, one for hope and one for faith.
