Grow your own Chard ‘Fireworks’ Five Colours and enjoy a steady harvest of vibrant, leafy greens from early summer through to winter. This colourful chard brings together tender, spinach-like leaves and bright rainbow stems, perfect for both fresh salads and hearty cooking.

What makes me special?

- Tender, versatile leaves. Pick young for soft, delicate salad leaves or let them grow on to cook like spinach for a deeper, earthier flavour.
- Simple serving idea. Once grown, toss baby leaves through fresh salads or sauté mature leaves gently with garlic for a quick side dish.
- A colourful mix. Striking stems in red, purple-pink, orange and white add brightness to both your garden and your plate.
- Long harvesting season. Start picking from early summer and keep harvesting right through autumn and into winter.
- Nutritious leafy green. Grown for its rich leaves, which contain vitamins K, A and C alongside magnesium, potassium and iron.
- Easy to grow. A hardy plant that thrives in pots, garden beds or allotments, with few pest or disease issues.
- Simple care on arrival. Unpack as soon as possible, water well and place in a light spot to help it settle in.
- Practical growing tips. Prefers non-acidic soil and benefits from regular picking to encourage fresh growth and help prevent bolting.
- Sustainably delivered. Arrives at your table with zero air miles and zero pointless plastic.

Jo Wright and her team at Organic Blooms work hard to bring organic flowers to your door. Based in Gloucestershire, they run as a social enterprise, providing jobs for those who might struggle in a traditional workplace. Horticultural therapy is at the heart of what they do – gardening and plant-tending being excellent options for those with varying support needs. We work with them to plan upcoming crops, making sure each flower is reliable, interesting and satisfying for their staff to grow. We’re proud to say that, because of our support, they’ve been able to hire more people than ever before.
