As you’ve probably seen in our shiny new Summer Book, we’re partnered with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS), ensuring that the catch of the day is not only delicious, but always sustainable. But that’s not all - when the sun peeks out from behind the clouds and with summer hot on our heels, at Abel & Cole we really do like to be beside the seaside and doing some good.
Great British Beach Clean
Each Abel & Cole’er gets a volunteer day each year, and under the expert eye of our MCS guides, at the end of June members of Veg HQ are descending on a beloved British coast to host our very own Beach Clean. As well as removing nautical nasties from our environment, the beach clean surveys also allow MCS to build a clearer picture on what throwaway items are the worst offenders – and how we can tackle the problem.
Looking to give back to the environment this summer? Why not combine a trip to your local seafront with planting some good deed seeds. Gather your family and friends and get stuck in to The Great British Beach Clean 2019. Here's a few bits to help you set up your own outing here.
