Bring something special to the Christmas table with our Italian Porchetta from The Green Butcher. It's a generous organic pork joint made from the loin and belly, seasoned with fennel seed, sage, garlic, black pepper, and a pinch of chilli flakes.
What makes me special?
- Fennel and sage. Fennel seed and sage give it that classic warm, aromatic porchetta flavour. Garlic and black pepper add depth, while chilli flakes bring a gentle warmth.
- Loin and belly. It's made from both cuts, so you get lean, tender loin alongside richer belly. The belly brings a buttery richness to every slice.
- Simply seasoned. It's just organic pork, salt, and spices, so the flavour of the meat really comes through. The seasoning's already done, so it's ready for the oven.
- A festive centrepiece. At 2kg, it's a generous joint for the whole table. Carve it into thick slices and serve it with roast potatoes and seasonal greens.
- Brilliant leftovers. Any leftovers are lovely in a crusty roll the next day. Add a spoonful of salsa verde or apple sauce for a festive sandwich.

The Green Butcher is a small, Twickenham-based cooperative, co-owned by Nick Green and the pioneering British dairy farm, Horton House Farm on the Wiltshire-Somerset border. The Green Butcher was founded to champion the virtues of low-impact, low-input, pasture-based farming, where livestock are rotated to a fresh, nutritious pasture every day, to give the soil time to regenerate and boost biodiversity.
