True Blue Smoothie

We’re singing the blueberries this week with this refreshing mix of jolly blue berries, warming ginger, sweet apples and almond milk.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 125g blueberries
  • 330ml almond milk
  • 1cm slice of ginger
  • A few ice cubes

Method

1. Quarter the apples and slice out their cores. Roughly chop the apples. Tip into your blender with the blueberries and 1cm-thick slice of the ginger (or add more for extra an gingery hit).
2. Slosh in 330ml almond milk. Tumble in a few ice cubes and whizz till smooth.
