At this time of year our organic blueberries come from Chile. They come from two farms, Santa Hilda and Millahue, in central Chile, just south of Santiago. Both farms have slightly different soil and weather conditions so the growers can take advantage of the best conditions and pick the fruit when the time is right on each farm. This is a great way of letting nature take its course and working with the elements, one of organic farming's main principles.

Ingredients & allergens

Abel & Cole handles celery, celeriac, peanuts and nuts on site. Due to our packing process and re-use of boxes there is a risk of cross-contamination from these, and all other allergens.

Storage & prep

Blueberries need very little preparation — just wash them gently and dry them on a clean tea towel. If you're not going to eat them straight away you should store blueberries in the fridge, preferably in a shallow tray. If you want to keep them for longer, then blueberries freeze well. Don’t forget to wash your fruit and veg before use.
