These superb, flat, thin organic tagliatelle ribbons are made by passionate Italians. The pasta slowly dried to retain oodles of flavour and more nutrition. It makes for an impressive meal. Our favourite way to serve it is with some chilli and crab.

This Italian tagliatelle is produced by Valerio, Carlo and Kostas - three friends with a passionate belief that top quality organic products should be for as many people as possible. Valerio says, "There is a way to encourage people to switch to organic food; and the more that change, the merrier. By cutting margins and re-assessing the way produce is priced, we can get a whole lot more people on board." So, what about their products...? They'll stand for nothing but the best. We certainly think this pasta is eccellente!

Storage & prep

Store in a cool, dry, clean and odourless place and away from the sunrays. How to prepare the perfect dish of Italian pasta: 1. Use a large - based cooking pot 2. Use one litre of water for every 100 gram of the pasta you're going to cook 3. Use 10g of coarse - grained salt for every litre of water When the water starts to boil add the salt and pasta. Stir the pasta, increase the heat and cover the pot with a top to reintroduce the process of boiling. Stir the pasta now and then and cook it according to the cooking time indicated on the packaging (6/7 minutes). The cooking time begins when the water with the pasta in the pot starts boiling. Taste the pasta now and if you consider it to be ready add a glass of cold water into the pot which will stop the cooking process while sieving. Add a sauce of your choice!
