A firm bodied English cheese with a firm but flaky texture. Matured under carefully controlled conditions for three to four months, its known for its deep orange colour, and has a sweet and delicate flavour.

Lye Cross Farm is owned by the Alvis family, who have fifty years of cheese making experience. It is based at the foot of the Mendip hills, in Somerset, and only a few miles from the village of Cheddar. All of their cheeses are made using traditional methods.
