This incredible jam is so good that the sample jar in the Abel & Cole office magically emptied out within about 20 minutes!
Great with burgers, sausages and also with some cheeses - you can use it as a glaze on chicken and drop a spoonful or two in a casserole to pep it up. It's also delicious with char-grilled squid and in sandwiches. Is there anything it's not good with!? Maybe muesli.
To bring you these jolly good jars, we’ve teamed up with two families who are absolutely bonkers about chutneys and dressings. The Atkins family and husband and wife team, Nicola and Robert Young joined forces in 2005. They create these charming numbers just outside Newbury in the Berkshire countryside. It’s a real family affair with the Atkins family and the Youngs working closely together. Nicola tells us, “Every day we get to do what we enjoy and it’s creative. Lindsay has almost her whole family working here, her husband packs and dispatches the food, her daughters Jo and Vicky work in the office and son Adrian works with Lindsay in the kitchen. She has another son who also helps from time to time – when we need an extra pair of hands. We’re a small company but we’re growing bit by bit."
