Wild Garlic Mushrooms on Sourdough



  • A knob of butter
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1-2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • A handful of wild garlic or parsley
  • 200g chestnut mushrooms
  • Sea salt and freshly ground pepper
  • Sourdough bread

1. Melt a knob of butter in a pan. Add 2 thinly sliced shallots, a sliced garlic clove and a punnet of sliced mushrooms. Cook on a medium heat till golden.
2. Add some crème fraîche. Fold through a handful of chopped wild garlic (or parsley). Season. Serve on griddled slices of sourdough.
