Hugo Prosecco Cocktail

In Italy 5pm-7pm is aperitivo time, when people get together to share a drink and a snack before dinner. We think this elderflower and prosecco spritz is the perfect choice for a summer get-together.


  • 360ml elderflower cordial
  • 750ml prosecco, chilled
  • 300ml tonic water, chilled
  • 1 lime
  • A handful of mint sprigs

1. Fill 6 large wine glasses with ice. Pour 60ml elderflower cordial into each glass.
2. Pour 125ml prosecco into each glass, then top up with 50ml tonic water.
3. Slice the lime and float a slice in each glass. Add a mint sprig or two and serve.
