Honeyed Jampote

Make your own jam to go in the best jam sandwiches (along with your Malted Loaf and Shake It Up Butter - see recipe links below). Quick and easy to make, so all the family can join in.

Ingredients

  • 450g strawberries
  • 40g honey

Method

1. Carefully trim the green tops off your strawberries – get an adult to help you. Compost the green tops.
2. Put the strawberries in a pan. Use your hands to squish them till they’re really juicy and look jammy. Set the pan over a medium heat.
3. Add the honey to the pan and bring it to the boil. Be careful not to put your face too close to the pan. Let it bubble for 5-10 mins till it’s thick and jammy.
4. That’s it. Chill till you’re ready to spread it on your bread.
