Easy and cheesy. What could be better? This fool proof recipe makes the perfect butter biscuit snack. You can use it as a base for some more cheese if you dare.

  • 200g Abel & Cole Cheddar
  • Half a bunch of chives, chopped
  • 300g plain flour
  • 200g butter
  • 2 tsp mustard

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. In a big bowl, mix the butter and mustard till smooth and creamy.
3. Stir in everything else. Mix till you have your dough.
4. Roll out and cut into circles. Place them onto lined baking trays and bake in the oven for 20 mins, or till a light golden brown.
5. Let them cool (if you can resist) and eat them preferably in a big arm chair whilst it’s raining outside.
