Baked Brie Fondue

This works with any whole Brie, be it Godminster’s organic Black Pepper Brie or Simon Weaver’s whopping 1kg organic Cotswold Brie Wheel.


  • 1 wheel of brie

1. Preheat oven to 200°C/Gas 7. Unwrap your Brie. Nestle it into a round baking dish lined with greaseproof paper. Score a little cross in the centre. Bake for 10 mins for a smaller Brie/up to 30 mins for the 1kg number, or till the top is a little golden around the edges.
2. Carve the top off and treat it like a fondue. We love it with little roast potatoes threaded on firm sprigs of rosemary. Celery, carrots and chicory are also divine.
