Real people who drink real ale and eat real cheese will, one must presume, enjoy our real ale chutney with relish.
Not suitable for G.I. Joe, Ken, Mr Potato Head or Buzz Lightyear, this Real Ale Chutney is for Real Men. And Real Women, thankyouverymuch. But seriously, it's really good and absolutely wicked with cheddar.
Kitchen Garden chutneys was started by Barbara Moinet in 1989 from her kitchen (it's all in the name...) in the Cotswold hills. She sticks to good old fashioned chutney making methods, whilst introducing some fun and supertasty contemporary ingredients.
Tomatoes, Apples, Raw cane sugar, Cider vinegar, Wild Hare Real Ale (6%) (contains barley, wheat), Sultanas, Raisins, Dates, Sea salt*, Spices (Ground mace, Cayenne pepper, Ground cloves, Ground black pepper, Ground ginger)
Dietary information: Contains Gluten. May contain traces of Nuts, Mustard, Sesame, Sulphites.
Suitable for Vegetarians.
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened refrigerate. May be consumed many months after opening if refrigerated, tightly sealed and uncontaminated with other things, such as butter or breadcrumbs. However, flavour will gradually start to deteriorate after a few weeks.
May be eaten cold, straight from the jar, or added to casseroles for flavouring when it should be heated according to the specific recipe.
