Caws Cenarth Cheese is a small family enterprise in the heart of West Wales. It's here that Welsh speaking Gwynfor and Thelma Adams have been farming for over 42 years. The cheesemaking business was established in April 1987 as a response to the E.C milk quotas which had threatened the viability of the family farm. The cheese is still made entirely by hand and some of the cast iron presses are over a hundred years old.
A small family enterprise produces this delicious blue cheese from Glyneithinog Farm, Dyfed.

Perfect served with chutneys and our fresh organic bread, it also works wonderfully well when added to leek-based dishes. We recommend keeping this Welsh blue cheese in the salad drawer of your fridge as whilst it should always be refrigerated, you don't want it to get too cold! Once opened it should be closely wrapped to prevent drying out. Not suitable for home freezing.
