Sirloin steaks are a delicious and tender cut. Even better, as it's a minute steak (which means a thinner cut) it’ll take a lot less time to cook. Which is great for cooks who want an impressive meal in a hurry.
All our beef comes from Laverstoke Park and box Farm (and occasionally a couple of small organic neighbours too). They're farms which rear traditional, heritage breeds like Aberdeen Angus and Herefords, and which truly believe in the welfare of the animal. Handily, things like looking after your cows and feeding them grass also means the meat tastes amazing. And is better for you - grass is full of omegas which end up in the meat.
Laverstoke Park is a Grade II listed park of approximately 275 rolling acres which include the upper reaches of the River Test. The farm is a haven of biodiversity and forward thinking organic farming. They have complex grass leys containing over 30 different grasses, clovers and herbs as well as a diverse mix of hedges, trees, animals and crops which all contribute to furthering the biodiversity. Using slow-growing breeds and proving the animals with delicious organic feed and room to express their natural behaviour, we are delighted to offer such excellently-flavoured lean meat.
