Long Clawson Dairy was formed in 1911 by a group of 12 dairy farmers, keen to produce a Stilton local to the village Long Clawson, around which they all farmed. The company now includes more than thirty small farms, all of whom are recognised by the RSPCA Freedom Food initiative.
A traditional Stilton with a velvety texture, blue-green veining and a mellow rounded flavour, Long Clawson is a perfect addition to any cheeseboard. It is also superb used in cooking, for example in pasta dishes or of course with steak.

To get the most out of your stilton it should be brought back to room temperature before serving. Best served with chutney and full-bodied wine. When not in use, stilton should be kept closely wrapped and refrigerated. Not suitable for home freezing.
