Not only does this organic lager taste great (it's won awards and even the ale-loving aficionados at CAMRA think it is top stuff), it is the perfect accessory for any rally, march or right-on gathering that you might want to attend. With a rounded malty flavour with a subtle bitterness and smooth caramel undertone, this is suitable for vegans and vegetarians and is 4.8% ABV. Like everything we do, it's top quality, organic and ethically spot-on - what more could you want!
Freedom lager has been brewed since 1995 and is Britain's first ever micro-brewed lager. The Freedom Brewery is set up on farmland in Abbots Bromley near Burton-on-Trent, on a site which has its own source of pure limestone Spring water. This water, filtered over millions of years through layers of natural alabaster, is the water that made Burton-on-Trent famous for superb beer and which has attracted Brewers to the region since the fifteenth century. Burton water is rightly acknowledged to be among the best brewing water in the world, on a par with the famous waters of Pilsen itself.
