Earthy lentils, fresh spinach and creamy goat's cheese is the latest mastermind creation of Chantelle and her team at Pure Organics. They're winning people over with their hearty and robust, butter pastry vegetarian pies. Serve this one with a spicy red wine, a heap of buttery mash and few chunky spears of steamed broccoli.
When looking for a range of quiches and veggie pies to add to our range, we searched and searched but couldn’t find anything that suited our needs: organic, delicious and made with the ethical and environmental standards we require. But then we found Chantelle Ludski and her team at Fresh! Naturally Organic. Chantelle started out studying law and in September 1999, whilst still at business school, she started the UK’s first organic café and called it ‘fresh!’ After building the business to a small chain of 4 organic cafes, Chantelle decided to expand the business so she started supplying her healthy organic sandwiches and salads to organic food stores and other shops. Chantelle won The Soil Association ‘Business Person of the Year’ award in 2001 and her company was a finalist in the 2006 Organic Industry Awards. Everything is organic and in bio-degradable or compostable packaging.
