Chyawanprash is traditionally used as a tonic for healthy living. Made from a time honoured recipe, with unique herbs, spices and honey. Its nutritious ingredients have been enjoyed for centuries to promote well being.
In 2002, Tim Westwall put an ad in a local magazine, asking, ‘Do you want to grow business in a healthy way?’ He only got one reply, which was luckily from Sebastian Pole. Sebastian is a qualified practitioner in ayurveda and Chinese and Western herbal medicine, as well as an avid herb grower. And so they set up business in Tim’s spare room, making delicious teas from organic herbs with a focus on wellbeing. Pukka have grown their beliefs on the basis of ayurveda – the ancient Indian art of living wisely, and make sure their herbs are from organic and sustainable sources.
