These chickens enjoy a long and lovely life (three months, to be precise, instead of the poultry industry standard of 37 days), strutting and roaming freely around the farm, and are housed at night to protect them from marauding foxes. They are dry plucked, then hung and matured to give them a real old-fashioned chicken flavour. One of these chickens will comfortably feed between 4 and 6 people - you'll be making the roast with the most! This chicken comes with giblets, for all your gravy-making needs! "What struck me immediately was the rosiness of the flesh when I jointed the chicken. It literally seemed to "glow" with health." – Greedy Gourmet
