Pymân Patés was started in 2006 by Thomas Pyman, who has only just turned 30. After graduating from Plymouth catering college he started making a special cranberry pate for the local hotel. They were so impressed that they persuaded him to carry on after Christmas. With the help of his beloved Suzuki Alto, which was far older than he was, he began to supply the local farmers markets and pubs. He still cooks at the Skylark at Clearbrook on Dartmoor at weekends.
