Pip pip hooray!
Last weekend, a few of us and a bunch of Abel & Cole customers spend the day at Paul Ward’s orchard in Kent. There was lots of fresh apple juice, orchard walks, apples, balloon animals and some rain (of course).
This is what it looked like:
(This is Murphy. Or ‘Biscuits’, which is what Paul has to call him to get his attention from other things (mostly apples). Murphy loves eating, he loves apples, and he loves eating apples. On Apple Day, he ate half a notebook and a loaf of bread, before hoovering up as many apples on the orchard walk as was caninely possible.)

It was such a wonderful day, rain or no, and really inspiring and energising. The farm is great as were all the folk we met.

We had a fabulous day, despite the rain. It was great to meet Paul and Co from the farm, as well as all the lovely people from Abel & Cole. We learnt so much and found the whole day totally inspiring. Oh and the food, apples and goody bags were a much appreciated bonus. See you all at the next event . Thanks to you all. Jenny x
Thank you one and all for organising such a lovely event. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the sun did come out for the second walk, and stayed out. Look forward to the next do.
I’m so sad I missed this. Do many of the producers open their farms? I’d love to visit!
