In a moment of bravery a month or so ago, a few of the Abel & Cole marketing team signed up to CLIC Sargents “Lovers of Life” charity abseil.

We sensibly hadn’t been to see the building in question prior to the abseil day, but another of our team kindly looked up this picture on the world wide web the day before…

Second thoughts? Us? never!

So…last weekend we launched ourselves off the top of Riverwalk House in London and abseiled down 130ft.

We all made it…despite a little frost-bite from waiting on top of the building while we each tentatively lowered ourselves down.

It was a pleasure to do it though, in the name of helping CLIC Sargent with their fundraising. CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards.

We’re glad to say we’ve now raised over £1,200! Thank you everyone who has sponsored us.
