Court Lodge's live 'natural pouring yogurt' has the consistency of cream, but with a fraction of the fat and it's pretty versatile too - pour it over your cereal or pudding; stir in some honey and enjoy it as a drink; use it as a salad dressing by mixing in some herbs; or even blend in some fruit to make your own smoothies!
It's truly a family affair down at the Court Lodge Farm in Sussex, where the Harding family have been making organic smoothies for the last 6 years. David runs the farm and looks after the cows. Marian, who created these delicious smoothies and yogurt, makes everything in her converted shed situated behind the milking parlour, whilst the children Peter and Clare help out as much as possible by working at various markets and festivals. We love working with the Hardings not only because their yogurt and smoothies are so yummy, but also because they have a real interest in preserving the countryside and working hard to provide healthy organic food whilst looking after the environment and the local community. Part of their farm is a nature reserve rented from the Sussex Wildlife Trust and they are involved in the management of the land for its bird life, plants and insects.
