This gorgeous sauce is made by Nicola and Robert Young of Atkins and Potts (the team who make our fab salad dressings and chutneys). Last summer, we spent a bit of time with them making stunning pasta sauces loaded with lovely vegetables, piquant herbs and spice.
Everything is made by hand – just like Granny use to make. Nicola and Robert work in the stunning surrounds of the Berkshire countryside, just outside Newbury.
This decadent, slow-cooked pasta sauce has hunks of roasted red peppers, lending the perfect sweetness to tone down the spice of the fresh red chillies. It's a gorgeous sauce that tastes fresh and homemade.
Pour a jar or two over chicken legs half way through the roasting and top with fresh rocket, stoned Kalamata olives and shavings of Parmesan. You can also add diced courgettes and aubergines from your veg box!
